picture 21 Weekend Update: Jimmy Fallon & Justin Timberlake Are The Bee Gees

Justin Timberlake & Jimmy Fallon are the Bee Gees on Saturday Night Live's recurring sketch The Barry Gibb Talk Show (NBC)

Justin Timberlake hosted the season finale of Saturday Night Live this weekend, and in addition to singing in his monologue and the digital short, he reprised his role as Robin Gibb with Jimmy Fallon as Barry in the popular sketch The Barry Gibb Talk Show.

[photogallerylink id=36931 align=right]”Here we are in a room full of strangers, discussing politics and the issues of the day-ay,” Jimmy and Justin shriek at the top of the skit.  ”And I want to talk to you, though you may not want me to,” continues Jimmy, who returned to Saturday Night Live especially for the occasion.

Part of the joke in The Barry Gibb Talk Show is that Barry and Robin always break into impromptu Bee Gees-style songs about whatever topic they’re talking about, and the other part is that Robin is the quiet brother with nothing to contribute to the show.

Barry talks to 2008 presidential hopeful Bill Ricahrdson (Horatio Sans).

Justin Bieber goes on the “no-nonsense” show to talk to The Bee Gees.

Cruz Bustamante, talkin’ ’bout Cruz Bustamante…
