Philadelphia, Pa (WOGL) – The freaky Friday before Halloween started off right as The Breakfast Club spoke to Professor Joe at Grim Philly Tours.

Professor Joe is graduate of the university of Penn and a history Professor at Ryder University. He studied the history of the city of Philadelphia and, yes, he knows where the bodies are buried.

The professor is trying to “educate people through entertainment” when it comes to Grim Philly.

“Professors work for us, and we have some Ivy League grads, people that have an independent understanding and who are also working off my research, as well,” he said. “So, what we want to do is give people something that’s a little different.”

This is just the kind of different Philly folks and visitors want around Halloween.

“We had the vampires, love and ghost tours, and you get a little bit of a mix. There’s a couple of ghost stories thrown in there, too, but you get a little bit on Blackbeard, there’s a little bit on brothel culture and things.”

The mass murderer tour, Cemetery Serial Killers, has become its own tour.
