Those who were sad they didn’t get tickets to see the original Broadway cast of Lin-Manuel Miranda‘s Hamilton will still get to see some top-level talent when they finally get their tickets.

In a tweet yesterday afternoon, Wayne Brady made the news official that he will be joining the cast of Chicago’s cast of the musical. Brady showed his enthusiasm known in his tweet, saying, “I’ve been dying to tell you guys!!”

Miranda co-signed the news with an excited tweet of his own, in all caps of course.

Brady will take on the role of Aaron BurrĀ from January 17th through April 9th at the PrivateBank Theatre. The Pulitzer Prize-winning show began its Chicago run in September of 2016.

No stranger to Broadway, Brady has performed in Rent at the Hollywood Bowl, Chicago in New York, and most recently on Broadway in Kinky Boots.
