By: Renee Grant

Heavy metal rockers Iron Maiden will be bringing The Book Of Souls Tour to Philly this June, and fans in the area will get to see them perform here for the first time since January 29, 1991. Fans will be treated to performances of new music, as well as the groups greatest hits, such as Run to the Hills.

Bassist Steve Harris says via press release, “We are really looking forward to returning to North America for a full tour… We will, of course, be bringing the full production with us including all the Eddies and Maya-themed stage sets.”

Special guests Ghost will join the band during The Book Of Souls tour.

The Book Of Souls is Iron Maiden’s first ever double studio album, and their most successful chart-wise to date.

Tickets for the summer show go on sale Friday, January 27th at 10AM exclusively online through, by phone at (800)298-4200, and in person at the Wells Fargo Center box office. The date of the concert is June 4th.
