On the heels of an incredibly successful blues album, Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger says he’s working on new music for his legendary band.

Speaking to Showbiz411, Jagger says, “I’m working on new songs now.”

The rockers took a detour from their usual sound and brought a blues album titled Blue & Lonesome last December. The LP proved to be an amazing success for the band, their most popular release in years.

Hoping to continue that success, Jagger says their next album will be all new material.

With members’ ages ranging from 69 to 75, the Rolling Stones show no signs of slowing down and seem to be in the spotlight as much as ever. There’s no word on when a new album would be released, but whenever it happens fans will be in for something special.
