Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason Crashes His $3.7M Race Car

By: Renee Grant

Over the weekend, on Sunday, March 19th, Nick Mason of Pink Floyd was involved in a crash while driving his $3.7M McLaren F1 GTR supercar.

During a demonstration lap at the Goodwill Circuit in West Sussex, England, his car went off track, crossed over the grass on the side of the course and hit protective banking, sustaining some pretty major front-end damage. Mason didn’t appear to have any major injuries.

Mason has been a racing enthusiast for a quite a while but is giving his hobby more of his time as Pink Floyd takes up less of it.

Video and photos of the crash can be seen here.
