On this week’s edition of Marilyn Russell’s Remarkable Women, Marilyn Russell speaks to Chef Erin O’Shea of the Rooster Soup Company, two-time Emmy winner Deborah Norville and Sarah Levitsky, the marketing and events manager for Reading Terminal Market.

Chef Erin O’Shea

Hospitality is fundamental – pass it on. That’s the mantra of Rooster Soup Company, the very first restaurant in the city of Philadelphia to donate all the profits from their restaurant to support Broad Street Ministry. Through its hospitality collaborative, Broad Street Ministry served more than 76, 000 meals in 2016 and they are the mailing address for more than 3,000 people, enabling them to get an ID, housing, employment and benefits. 100 percent of the profits from Rooster Soup Company supports the hospitality collaborative’s mission of providing meals and social services for Philadelphia’s most vulnerable citizens.

Deborah Norville

Norville is no stranger to Marilyn Russell’s Remarkable Women. Three years ago, she served as the keynote speaker at the show’s luncheon.

The two-time Emmy Award winner and host of Inside Edition¬†on CBS,¬†joins this week’s show to talk about her love of crafting, her work as a past member of the Girl Scout Council of New York and more.

Sarah Levitsky

Now in its seventh year, the Reading Terminal Market’s Party For The Market will include live music, dance floors, open bars and a diverse selection of delicious foods and desserts that have been donated by the market’s revered merchants. Proceeds from the evening’s festivities benefit the Reading Terminal Market Preservation Trust and will be used to preserve the historic market, as well as to support the performing arts and other cultural programming.
