And the most popular candy this Easter is – Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs!
According to a survey conducted by the digital savings destination RetailMeNot, Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs are the candy most likely to be found in your Easter basket this year. According to the survey, 53 percent of people are a fan of the Easter treat.
The Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs rose to the top of the list by beating out the Easter staple Peeps, which came in fifth place, by almost 20 percent.
With the Reese’s Mini Peanut Butter Chocolate Eggs and Peeps bookending this top five list, chocolate bunnies, jelly beans and Hershey’s Eggs were named the second, third and fourth most popular candy choices this year.
On average, those who participated in the survey reported that they will spend on average $57 on candy alone this Easter. Looks like some local dentists may be paid a visit in the not too distant future!
