The 50-year-old new mother has been largely silent in the public and on social media in the months since she gave birth to her baby boy, and after news of her split from her husband of 5 years. Her mother, Katherine Jackson, has been living with Janet in her London home since Eissa’s arrival.

“My baby and me after nap time,” Janet captioned the adorable family photo.

While Janet and Wissam haven’t publicly addressed the breakup, the businessman posted a quote from the Quran on his website that states: “You shall most certainly be tried in your possessions and in your persons; and indeed you shall hear many hurtful things from those to whom revelation was granted before your time, as well as from those who have come to ascribe divinity to other beings beside Allah. But if you remain patient in adversity and conscious of Him – this, behold, is something to set one’s heart upon. – 3:186”

Janet still appears on his website under the tab entitled “Love,” Wissam features a photo of Janet referring to her as his best friend. The page reads: “To the most beautiful person in the world, thank you for
your divine love, your eternal support and for being my best friend. I love you so much, inshallah we will be together in the Great Forever x”
