At Florida’s Wanee Festival, the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir invited Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio on stage to perform a 5-song set. The pair sang hits from their respective groups, and also performed a cover of a surprising song, Lady Gaga’s Million Reasons.

The duo played the song on acoustic guitars, alternating the lead and background vocals. While the performance started off a bit shakily with some struggle on chord progressions, Weir and Anastasio eventually locked in, and the acoustic version of the song found its rhythm.

The two legendary guitarists also performed Grateful Dead‘s Deep Elem Blues, Friend of the Devil, and Bird Song, as well as Phish‘s Miss You.

Previously, the two united with surviving members of the Grateful Dead, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann, and Mickey Hart, in 2015 for the Fare Thee Well concerts, a series of final shows celebrating the band’s 50th anniversary. The duo also played together during Phish’s October show in Nashville. Weir joined the band for the entire second set.

Watch the video of the performance below and tell us what you think!
