Two months after the passing of Chuck Berry, we finally get his first-ever music video. The single is Big Boys from Berry’s final album CHUCK, due out on June 16th.

The video debuted this morning, May 17th, on NPR. Directors Matt Bizer and Curtis Wayne Millard discussed the video, saying they had one goal in mind when coming up with the concept: have fun.

“Chuck Berry tunes are a good time and they tell stories that everyone can relate with, so we wanted to stay true to that,” Bizer and Millard said. “When we where shooting the video, Chuck Berry was still with us and during post-production we found out he had passed on. We did not know how to really process it all. In a way, I think we are still processing the entire experience.”

The video features some sweet dance moves that incorporate elements of traditional rock and swing steps, a Washington Hand Dance, and modern hip-hop.

Check out the video below and get your groove on!
