This week on Marilyn Russell’s Remarkable Women, Christine Simiriglia joins the show to talk about an upcoming fundraiser Pathways To Housing PA will be hosting. Maitreyi Roy of Batram’s Garden also joins the show for part-two of our conversation.

Christine Simiriglia, MS, President and CEO of Pathways To Housing PA, is responsible for administering all of the agency’s programs and services, including supportive housing, behavioral health treatment and primary care services, case management, social enterprise, employment services and the Philadelphia Furniture Bank.

Simirglia joined the show to to share all the details on their upcoming fundraiser – The Philadelphia Furniture Bank Inaugural “Chair Affair,” which happens June 1 at the Moore College of Art.

Students from the college have transformed chairs into art, utilizing various mediums such as paints, textiles, sewing, woodwork and more. The chairs will be auctioned off that evening and all the proceeds will benefit Pathways To Housing PA.
