A 1962 Lockheed Jetstar, once the private jet of Elvis Presley, is up for auction with a starting bid of $10,000. The UK Telegraph reports that the bidding is currently at $126,000 with bidders having until 10AMĀ on Saturday, May 27th to make an offer.

The jet is decked out in red shag carpet and red velvet seats, and the interior was designed by Elvis himself. The value of the jet is estimated to be between $2M and $5M dollars, according to the auction site selling the plane, GWS Auctions. The lot includes original paperwork signed by Presley, specifying his requests for the custom build.

The jet became a tourist attraction years ago when it sat on a runway in Roswell, New Mexico. It still contains its original cockpit, but does not have engines, and has never been restored. It is the only one of Presley three jets still privately owned, the others belong to his Graceland estate.

The jet is a part of a larger collection from collector Milton Love, and also includes lost photos and handwritten memoirs of the Beach Boys, lost photos of Aaliyah before her untimely passing, James Brown, Ray Charles, Bing Crosby, Dick Clark, and more.
