As we get closer to one of the summer’s most fun holidays, the Fourth of July, we hope you’ve been listening to our Our 70’s and 80’s Greatest Hits Countdown!

While that is absolutely a great way to get you pumped for the cookouts and fireworks, we thought we’d add a few songs to the list that you may not hear on the air. Here are nine songs to get you excited for the Fourth of July. Enjoy!

  • Living in America – James Brown

  • Almost Independence Day – Van Morrison

  • 4th of July (Fireworks) – Kelis

  • American Pie – Don McLean

  • All Night Long – Lionel Richie

  • Firework – Katy Perry

  • The Star Spangled Banner – Jimi Hendrix

  • Neil Diamond – Coming To America

  • Pink Houses – John Mellencamp
