Joe Walsh has been having a busy few weeks. He recently announced his charity concert and his new VetsAid organization, helping to raise money for veterans,  taking place on September 20th. Walsh will host the event in Fairfax, Virginia, with the lineup set to include Gary Clark, Jr., Keith Urban, and the Zac Brown Band.

He discussed the concert and more on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night (August 3).

Walsh also told the hilarious story of the time he was at Benihana with John Belushi. “He went full on samurai,” Walsh joked. “It was messy.”

Walsh also took to Colbert’s late-night stage to perform his 1978 solo hit Life’s Been Good with Jon Batiste, and Stay Human. Check out those performances and the interview segment below.
