For two years, there have been rumors of a biopic about comedy legend Lucille Ball in the works. The authorized film, written by Aaron Sorkin, is finally moving forward with Cate Blanchett portraying the role of the raucous redhead.

E! News reports that the upcoming movie, focused on Ball’s 20-year marriage to Desi Arnaz, will be titled Luci and Desi.

Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz, Jr., the pair’s two children, will produce the biopic, along with Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch.

The film will center on the relationship between Ball and Arnaz prior from their marriage in 1940, through their creation of the wildly beloved I Love Lucy show and the success of their joint production company Desilu.

No date of production has been confirmed.
