Since the news of Glen Campbell‘s death on Tuesday, August 8th, love for the late superstar has come from all over the music industry. Campbell’s music inspired so many other artists, and Carlos Santana is no different.

At his band’s show on Wednesday night (August 9th), Santana and keyboardist David K. Matthews performed their version of Campbell’s 1967 single By The Time I Get To Phoenix.

As Santana finished the song, he told fans, “That was for a brother that went home. That was for Glen Campbell.”

Other artists have paid tribute to the late singer this week as well, including his former girlfriend, Tanya Tucker, who has released a tribute single to Campbell titled Forever Loving You.

Campbell struggled with Alzheimer’s Disease in the latter years of his life, and as a part of the tribute, a portion of the proceeds from the song will benefit the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.

Hear the single below, and share your favorite Glenn Campbell songs in the comments.
