Fans at the Outlaw Music Festival concert on Sunday night (August 13) had their fun cut short during festival founder Willie Nelson‘s set when he left the stage early due to breathing problems, Billboard reports.

The 84-year-old music icon was performing at the USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, UT. He was reportedly treated at a hospital in the area.

Nelson posted an update to his Twitter account letting fans know he was “feeling better” and the cause of his departure was that “The altitude got to me.”

In January, Nelson canceled several shows due to a “bad cold,” but has since been performing regularly with his festival, and promoting his latest album God’s Problem Child.
