Today’s Remarkable Women are both CHOP representatives, as we gear up for the 98.1 Loves Our Kids #WOGLradiothon, happening all day December 7th and 8th.

Marilyn speaks with Rachel Biblow, Director of Patient and Family Support Services at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, about the miracle that is the Monthly Miracle Maker program, a way for WOGL listeners to support CHOP in an incredibly meaningful way.  They discuss the multi-faceted nature of Family Support Services, which provides social work, language services, chaplaincy, bereavement support, group therapy, and other aid to families.

Marilyn then speaks with Elana Brewer, who is the Director of Child Life at CHOP.  Child Life is a hugely significant program which includes art therapy, music therapy, and pet therapy, and also hosts special events like proms and summer camps for patients who may be missing these childhood milestones.
