THANK YOU FOR HELPING US RAISE OVER $300,000 FOR CHOP | #WOGLradiothon| MORE INFO

Ten-year-old Alia has had mental health challenges since age four including PTSD, ODD and ADHD. These episodes can cause Alia to scream, cry, kick and lose control. Her older sister Jayda, 12, understands that it is a part of mental illness but still struggles sometimes; people just don’t understand what it’s like.

Episodes can disrupt the entire family at any time. Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia provides sibling support through a program called SibShops that continues to provide a peer-to-peer support network for Jayda. She meets other children like her who also have siblings with challenges. Alia’s mom is also receiving peer support from CHOP.
