THANK YOU FOR HELPING US RAISE OVER $300,000 FOR CHOP | #WOGLradiothon| MORE INFO

When Aubrey was 4 years old, she was camping with her family over a weekend in October. While running back to their family’s campsite, Aubrey tripped and fell on a concrete path. Immediately her mom, Megan, knew that her fall was serious. Aubrey had lost consciousness by the time they reached the registration desk at the campground.  As a result of the fall, a vein severed in the base of Aubrey’s skull. Following emergency brain surgery to repair the vein, she spent several months in a coma. Eventually Aubrey woke up. Months of intensive rehabilitation and therapy at CHOP helped her reach every milestone that doctors thought she would. Two years later, Aubrey is still working on residual effects from her accident but is a happy, healthy first grader.
