UPDATE:  Marilyn Russell is giving away tickets every day next week, from Monday the 29th through Friday, February 2nd, at 7:00 a.m. for one of Elton John’s Philadelphia shows!

Ok, Elton John fan.  I see you.  And the cat is out of the bag.  The rumors are true.  It’s happening.

Elton John is retiring.

But before he does, he’s going on a MASSIVE, 300-stop, multi-continent farewell tour, aptly titled, “Farewell Yellow Brick Road”.  And we, my friend, are getting two chances to see him here in Philadelphia!

You can see a video of the announcement launch below, and here’s what else you need to know:

It’s September 11th and 12th, 2018, at the Wells Fargo Center.  Tickets will be on sale Friday, February 2nd at 10 a.m.  Ticketmaster and American Express cardholders have access to a presale prior to the general on-sale date.  The event is at 8:00 p.m., and you can bet it’s going to be a pretty full set.

300 shows across five continents is a heck of a way to say farewell, but would you expect anything less from Elton John?  He is a cultural icon, globally recognized, and has imprinted his legacy across pop culture for decades.  I think we all owe it to him to say “farewell” back, and September 11th and 12th are our opportunities to do so.

You can find more information and purchase tickets HERE.
