Love Broadway but can’t make it up to New York City? You’re in luck! You can take in all the sights, sounds, and lights right here in the heart of the City of Brotherly Love. The Kimmel Center offers Broadway shows in Philadelphia and you’re not going to want to miss out on any of the action!

 

Here’s a full list of what Broadway Philadelphia shows are coming in the next few months:

RENT March 5-March 10

Run time: 2 hours and 45 minutes with 1 intermission

RENT is a Broadway favorite and celebrating a 20-year anniversary for touring production this year! The Tony Award winning show follows the lives of seven struggling artists who have a passion to follow their dreams in the face of adversity. The show celebrates courage and love with a soundtrack that has your heart on your sleeve.  

Miss Saigon March 19-March 31

Run time: 2 hours and 55 minutes with 1 intermission

From the creators of Les Misérables, Miss Saigon is an impressive story about a Vietnamese woman named Kim and an American G.I. Their story is an epic one and the production definitely doesn’t disappoint!

Anastasia April 9-April 14

Run time: 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission

Anastasia follows the journey of an orphan who struggles to find out the truth about her past. With the help of a conman and his buddy, the trio embarks on a mission to find truth and love. The production will have you feeling like you’re in 1920s-era Paris with memorable songs like “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December.”

The Book of Mormon May 28-June 9

Run time: 2 hours and 25 minutes with 1 intermission

This nine-time Tony Award-winning Best Musical is one you’re not going to want to miss! Check out what all the hype is about as you follow the comedic adventures of two missionaries traveling to spread the Good Word.  

CATS June 18-June 30

Run time: 2 hours and 30 minutes with 1 intermission

Broadway legend Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS is an extraordinary story about a tribe of cats on one spectacular night. The musical follows the tribe on the night of their annual ball to decide on the rebirth of one of their cats!

Hamilton August 27-November 17

Run time: 2 hours and 50 minutes with 1 intermission

Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton follows the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton during the American Revolution. The score is filled with a mix of jazz, rap, and hip-hop and will have you on the edge of your seats and humming along!
