Celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Philadelphia

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day! Here are some of our top picks to celebrate the holiday all weekend. Sláinte!

Saturday, March 16th

  • Fergie's Pub has a traditional Irish music session at 4:00PM and Oak, Ash and Thorn at 10:00PM.
  • Weavers Way in Chestnut Hill is throwing a backyard party from noon to 4:00PM. They teamed up with neighbor Iron Hill Brewery for the event. Pints of Irish Red Ale and O'Sullivan Stout will be available, and Iron Hill will donate $1 for each sold to the Irish Immigration Center of Philadelphia. There Irish food, live Irish music and games for kids.
  • Manayunk has a St. Patrick's Day bar crawl! Tickets are $12 and include drink specials and no cover at Sona Pub & Kitchen, JD McGillicuddy's, Ryan's Pub, Bayou, Cactus, Pitcher's Pub and other participating bars.
  • Xfinity Live!'s spring craft beer festival, Springfest Live!, is a fun option if you're really ready to party all day. So much beer and Irish music! Tickets are $45 and include unlimited samples from nearly 100 breweries.

Sunday, March 17th

  • McGillin's Olde Ale House starting at 10:00AM, you can get green beer at Philly's oldest bar! There is a $5 cover. They will have Irish food specials like shepherd's pie and corned beef and cabbage. 
  • Fergie's Pub has traditional Irish music from 11:00AM-4:00PM.
  • St. Stephen's Green is hosting a block party. There will be lots of drink specials at multiple outdoor bars, live music and Irish dance performances. The party runs 10:00AM to 8:00PM.
