About Ty Pennington:

Ty Pennington first garnered national attention as the quirky and creative carpenter on the groundbreaking home improvement series Trading Spaces. Later as host of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, Pennington helped transform the lives of hundreds, while inspiring millions more around the world to volunteer their time to help others. The show was consistently rated among television's Top 20 programs and won two Emmys® for Outstanding Reality Program. He also hosted Food Network’s series “American Diner Revival,” a hit show that showcased both design and food in an emotionally charged format.

About the Home & Garden Show

The latest in smart home technology and many new ideas for outdoor spaces are just some of this show’s highlights. Creativity and interactivity is encouraged with free “Make-It, Take It” workshops that are offered at both shows. These allow attendees to flex their DIY skills (and learn new ones) by creating new decor projects to bring home. This year, a new feature at both shows will be a Succulent Bar for creating custom, take-home planters from a wide selection of pots, succulent plants, and “toppings.” In 2018, more than 40,000 people attended the Philly Home Show, and nearly 20,000 attended the Philly Home and Garden Show.
