Marilyn Russell's Remarkable Women: Cara Cartney & Katie Edwards

First on the show this week is Cara Cartney, a singer and mentor at the Danny DeGennaro Foundation, who will headline the VIP area at the Creative Inspiration concert on September 28 at Bucks County Community College. The Danny DeGennaro Foundation is a non-profit formed in honr of the late singer/songwriter Danny DeGennero. It’s mission is to support aspiring inclined writers, poets and artists who possess “magic” similar to Danny. Next on the program is Katie Edwards,  Social Media Director for the Clean Air Council. Katie talks to Marilyn about the Clean Air Council’s 13th Annual Greenfest Philly – the largest environmental festival, bringing together more than 100 environmentally-friendly businesses and organizations every year. The event features live music from popular local bands, organic food and drinks, a beer garden, handmade sustainable goods from innovative businesses, a special Kids’ Corner with crafts and a rock climbing wall, and a Vegan Cooking Demo, and great DIY Workshops! Greenfest Philly is Sunday, September 9th from 10:00 to 4:00pm on Bainbridge Street between 3rd and 5th Street in Philadelphia.
