Remarkable Women: Nina Covalesky, Dr. Erin O'Malley Tysko, and Gillian Kocher

First on the show this week is Nina Covalesky, Executive Director of Theater with a View. Theater with a View is a professional outdoor theatre company located in Pottstown, PA. Nina stars is the upcoming Philadelphia-area premiere of Martín Zimmerman’s On The Exhale.  The gripping and timely one-person show, which examines America’s gun violence crisis, debuts July 11th and runs through the 28th. Theater with a View will donate $1 from every ticket sale to Everytown for Gun Safety, a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities. The next remarkable woman on the show is Erin O’Malley Tysko, MD. Dr. O’Malley Tysko is board certified in cardiovascular disease with specialty certifications in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and advanced studies in vascular medicine. She serves as a member of the Main Line Health Women’s Heart Initiative, supporting awareness, education and prevention of heart disease for women in the community.  Dr. O’Malley Tysko has practices at Lankenau Medical Center and in Roxborough.  She practices consultative cardiology, allowing her to care for a broad range of cardiovascular issues including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, lipid management and hypertension.

Lastly, Marilyn talks to Gillian Kocher, Director of Public Relations & Marketing for the PSPCA. The PSPCA has teamed up with Beck’s Cajun Café for “Woof Woof Wednesdays” at Beck’s Reading Terminal Market and 30th Street Station locations, now until the end of July! Beck’s will donate 10% of Po Boy sales to the PSPCA, or - put simply - Po Boys for Pups!
