Philly Special Immortalized in Hall of Fame

The very football caught by Nick Foles in Super Bowl 52 is now proudly enshrined in the Hall of Fame.

I'm guessing I don't have to explain what the "Philly Special" is.  After all, it's on the back of Budweiser trucks; it's been trademarked; it will be part of our city's legacy, a record we can be proud of for all time.

(However, just in case you're NOT familiar, the "Philly Special" is the play in Super Bowl 52, called by Nick Foles, wherein he actually caught a touchdown pass...right on the heels of the Patriots' inability to pull off a similar play.  Check out the footage below.)

Well, apparently, we're not the only ones who were wowed by this feat.  The "Philly Special" will now be immortalized in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  That is to say, the football Nick Foles caught now resides in that austere shrine, along with some Eagles gear and clothing to really rub in the fact that this near-miracle occured in PHILLY.

Nick Foles deserves to be remembered for that gutsy play, and everyone involved deserves to be recognized for their part in creating one of the coolest moments in Eagles history EVER.  We all know Philly is special, but it's sure nice to see our team...and our city...recognized on a national stage.  Be sure to check out the display the next time you're in Ohio!
