U.S. House Makes Animal Cruelty a Federal Felony as New Bill Passes

PHILADELPHIA (WOGL-FM) – The U.S. House has officially made acts of cruelty towards animals a federal felony.

One of the Representatives that introduced the bill, Ted Deutch of Florida, says that the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture (PACT) Act “sends a clear message that our society does not accept cruelty against animals.”
