Morgan had always been behind on the growth chart. When she reached sixth grade, her condition took a more serious turn.

Morgan’s parents realized that she wasn’t just small, she was seriously undernourished. Dad noticed one day that all she consumed was a saltine and a sip of Pediasure. Nobody realized what was going on until Morgan was admitted to CHOP in terrible pain and the mystery was solved.  She was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

After several surgeries and check-ups at CHOP with her GI team, Morgan is at a healthy weight and is managing her disease. Dad and mom are grateful for the team partnering with their family for Morgan’s care.

On December 3rd and 4th from 6a-7p, 98.1 WOGL and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia are teaming up to raise money to support patient care programs at CHOP. Learn more here.
