Event Description:

This year is the 15th Annual Sandy Sprint Superhero Run/Walk at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on Saturday, April 27th!

Hosted by the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation, the Sandy Sprint is a cause that works to raise awareness and funds for the foundation's mission and research towards ovarian cancer research. Almost everyone has been affected or touched by ovarian cancer in their lives some way. The Sandy Sprint Superhero Run/Walk makes a lasting impact through every participant's fearless spirit and endless support. Please come out and support the cause and celebrate the foundation's 15 years in raising money and awareness towards ovarian cancer research!

As mentioned in the title of the event, the Sandy Sprint Superhero Run/Walk highlights the bravery and fighting spirits of those touched by ovarian cancer. On that note, you are encouraged to wear your favorite Superhero costume! While not a necessity, it definitely adds to the fun and makes for a perfect photo op!

This is also a canine-friendly event so make sure to register your pups and dress them up too!

You can register at their website here

Race Day Registration begins at 6:30am and the 10K Run will begin at 7:30am wiht the 5K Run/Walk beginning at 8:15am--all funds raised will support Ovarian Cancer Research and Programs for survivors. We hope to see you there and in the meantime, check out their video highlights from last year's Run/Walk here!

A big thank you to Hessert Chevrolet for sponsoring this event that helps advance critical research that improves the lives of women with ovarian cancer.
