Remarkable Women 6/17/18 - Dr. Julia Snyder, Fred Stein, Lauren Miller

Monday, June 18th

On this remarkable episode, we meet distinguished professionals...of BOTH genders!  First, Marilyn speaks to Dr. Julia Snyder, who is a physician in private practice dedicated to providing more time and a higher level of care to patients.  She discusses the importance of firefighters, first responders and EMT's maintaining good health, both while on call and when the sirens are quiet.

Next, we revisit our conversation with Fred Stein, a senior partner in The Creative Group, Inc. who staged the massive and memorable Philadelphia Eagles Championship Super Bowl Parade in less then 6-days.  In honor of Fathers' Day, this remarkable man deserves some recognition for pulling off such an incredible event that meant so much to the city!

Finally, Marilyn speaks to Lauren Miller, Executive Director of the Tara Miller Melanoma Foundation.  The foundation was created by Lauren's twin sister Tara, who passed from melanoma in 2014.  She is helping to promote the 5th Annual "Make the Best of It Bash", a fundraiser for melanoma research and treatment that embodies the spirit of Tara, flirty, with cocktails and great food, an exciting silent auction with great items, and, above all, optimism and hope.

Lauren is also one of the 5 finalists for the upcoming KYW Women's Achievement Award Event on Thursday, June 28th at the Lowe's hotel!
